What is Daos.fun?

• Daos.fun is a decentralized platform on the Solana blockchain that enables creators to create and manage investment funds DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations). It allows creators to raise funds, invest in various projects, and distribute profits to token holders transparently and automatically.
• Daos.fun is a platform founded by @baoskee and incubated at Alliance DAO.

How does it work?

Let’s understand using one example,

• In the initial phase, creators set a target amount of SOL they wish to raise for their fund. They have one week to gather this money from investors.
• Say a creator aims to raise 50 SOL. During this week, they promote their fund and encourage people to invest. 
• If they only manage to collect 30 SOL, they will not meet their goal. In this case, investors can redeem their SOL
• If the creators successfully raise 50 SOL during week then they can take control of fund. After this point, the DAO tokens are minted and become publicly tradable on a virtual automated market maker (AMM).
• After a set period, the fund reaches its expiration date. At this point, the DAO wallet is frozen, and any profits made are distributed back to token holders.
• If the fund has an expiration date set for October 25, 2025, when that date arrives, investors can either burn their DAO tokens to redeem their share of the underlying assets or sell them on the market if the price is higher than what they initially paid. The profits from investments in SOL are distributed among token holders based on how many tokens they hold.
